Theres a lot of history on Upbeat Layouts. Im(kristen) the oringal owner of Upbeat Layouts. Ive been working with html hor about 16 months and i orginally started of as a myspace site. When i first started my myspace i really didnt have much talent,friends, or anything. I think my problem was i was using Paint or all my graphics until my myspace site got deleted.When my site go deleted i was pretty upset because i love making graphics even though they weren't so good i was still learning. So i download PSPx and started learning tutorials. I became better and decided to open up another myspace site and everything was going good until i got deleted again at 3k+. So then my friend was done and didnt want anything to do with his site so he gave it to me at 3k. So i took and it grew with it. My graphics became better with learning tutorials and friends helping me. Since my site name was orginally called "wreakless" i decided i needed a new and orginal name.
It took me a while to come up with a new name. There wasnt to any orginal names i would choose from because they were already taken. So one day i was watching tv and i heard the word "upbeat" about 5 times and i knew that it was a perfect name for my site and no body had it. "Upbeat" grew on me and now i love my name because its very orginaly and it describes my personality.
My myspace page started to become a success and requests were puring in. Ive had that site since dec. 8 of 06. Most mysapce sites just make a site and when they get deleted they start over but i really wanted a website so incase i get deleted, but then i started to think that i really wanted a website to replace my myspace page. Although i have my website now i will always have my myspace because my friends on there are amazing.
So then i started to look for sites that had hosting available, and i found a few and applied and then i got accpeted to be hosted but i didnt even know how to edit my page, it was a huge blur to me so i turned and it down and just started to work more on my myspace. Then i realized why not get a offical domain and not a subdomain so i went ahead and purchased a real domain that is now upbeatlyts.com .This site was bought on Aug 8,2007. This is my first offical website and im still learning css but i plan to have this site or a very long time and i hope i can create amazing graphics that interest everyone!
